"are you sure this is a good idea Ann?" asked Chrissa. "sure you said you wanted

to see the decorations downstairs and now's the perfect chance," was Ann's

replie "anyway i do this all the time and the coasts clear lets go."

"yay!" this is fun you were right Ann.

"come on Chrissa hurry up, i'm going up on the couch." Ann called as she

hoped off the last step

"Lanie?! what are you doing here?" Ann asked "hey let me up" Chrissa

called from below

"here i'll help you" Lanie said getting down to pull Chrissa up

"high five" Chrissa yelled once she got up.

"now why are you down here?" Ann asked

"meg left me here when she went to school" Lanie answered

"but what are you doing down her" she added "were exploring" Ann said

"can i join you?" "sure" and they set off again

soon Lanie and Chrissa found the Christmas books and started to read

suddenly Lanie exclaimed "hey where is Ann"

"hey guys i'm up here! awesome right" Ann called down

"cool!" Lanie repilde "but how are you going to get down"

"uhh well... i don't know HELP ME"

suddenly Chrissa ran off and came back with a blanket

"JUMP ANN!" she called up. "WHAT?" "JUMP ANN!"

"oh no are you ok?!" Chrissa said running over

suddenly Ann sat up and said "that was awesome!"

but Chrissa said she had had enough adventure for the day

and Lanie said she would like go go back upstairs to.

"hurry up guys! we don't have all day" Ann yelled as she

scrambled up the stairs.

finally they got to the top and said goodbye to Lanie.
